We have been seeing a lot of patients who are suffering with tennis elbow pain. Let me explain this to you it really isn’t too complicated. There is a bone that comes from your wrist all the way up to your elbow and whenever you play tennis or any activity that causes your wrist to stress the joint it can actually pop the radius, which is that bone that goes up to the elbow out of its position. We have a great protocol with the ProAdjuster here that allows us to stimulate the joint to take pressure off of it reducing the inflammation off of the joint that you can utilize to help stabilize that area.
Couple of things that you can do if you have elbow issues is first of all if you feel your forearm that muscle is most likely going to be overworked as well if you feel a tender spot put pressure on it for about 10 seconds as firm as you can tolerate. Repeat this 3-5 times. After that rock your arm slowly back and forth. Do this a second time on top 10 seconds 3-5 times rock it back and forth and then ice it down right on that forearm muscle for about 10 minutes and that will help take some of the inflammation and pressure off of that muscle and that is the muscle that will pull even more on the joint. If you have any questions please feel free to talk to me during your visit or contact me at the office.
Tennis elbow pain can be treated successfully. Please explore your options carefully.
