Exercising reduces chance of obesity, reducing of diabetes, cardiovascular heart disease and more. Exercising actually reduces stress and heightens your mood. Managing your time and finding time to exercise is hard because we are all so busy throughout the work day.
Hey everyone, Amby here from the ProAdjuster chiropractic clinic. Today I want to talk to you about the benefits of exercise, and time management with exercise. A few benefits of exercise are pretty common knowledge I think. Exercise reduces your chance of obesity, reduces the likelihood of diabetes. Exercise reduces other ailments like arthritis, and heart disease. Exercise makes you feel better to. When you exercise your brain releases endorphins, hormones that make you feel good. This reduces stress along with increasing your mood. So it’s a good way to feel better fast!
Time management with exercise is a tricky thing. If you work, like most of us do, it is hard to find enough time to exercise. I have difficulty with this myself. So what everyone wants to know is how often do you really need to exercise to feel better? Generally speaking you need to have some physical activity for 30 minutes a day three times a week. This might sound over whelming, but it is a lot more manageable than exercising every day for an hour a day. Here are a few ways you can make it even easier it get in a workout. Taking a walk after work with your kids around the block a few times can elevate your heart rate, and it beats sitting on the couch. Taking the stairs at work instead of the elevator is a great way to keep your blood pumping. If you work crazy hours there are lots of gyms in the area that are open 24 hours. If all else fails working out on the weekends can help you feel better and live a healthier lifestyle. Remember it only takes 30 minutes a day at least three days a week to feel better!
I hope this encourages you to keep moving. Have a great day
Diet and exercise help prevent diabetes
DIABETES can be a devastating disease or a mild inconvenience.
Obviously lifestyle changes for people who are at high risk for diabetes are important to help prevent and control existing issues. A six-year study began with people with higher-than-normal blood sugar levels, but not high enough to be diagnosed with diabetes. Researchers wanted to see if they could help prevent or delay a diagnosis of full-on blood sugar issues.
For the new report 568 participants from the original studies that began in 1986 were followed up on those have been randomly placed into one of three intervention groups (diet, exercise or diet plus exercise) or a comparison group. The diet intervention was meant to help heavy people lose weight and normal-weight people reduce the amount of simple carbohydrates they ate. The original study indicated that all three intervention groups had a reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes when the study ended in 1992.
They also discovered that 20% of the people in the study had a reduced risk of issues when they exercised and ate better. Preventing issues starts now not when you have already been diagnosed. Let’s do a good job to maintain the health that you already have. While chiropractors do not treat diabetes, they are trained to give patients advise on nutritional changes to achieve optimal weight. It a diabetic loses weight it can help their blood sugar levels. Blood Sugar levels are dangerous if too high. Your internist and general practicioer will monitor your blood sugar issues. They will advise you on how often you should have it measured. If your blood sugar gets to out of control, you can be in serious trouble. Watching you blood sugar on a daily basis is credible important. Make sure you follow your doctor’s specific instructions. Take it very serious.
